    French Apple Pie

    Ingredients

    6 cups sliced apples
    1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup milk
    1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    Topping:
    1 cup Bisquick baking mix
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter

    Directions

    Grease a pie plate.  Mix apples and spices; turn
    into plate.  Beat remaining ingredients until
    smooth.  Pour into plate.  
    Mix topping ingredients together.  Sprinkle on top
    of apple mixture.
    Bake at 325 for 55 to 60 minutes, until knife
    inserted in center comes out clean.
