    Margarita Pie

    Ingredients

    Crust:
    1 stick butter
    1 1/4 cup finely crushed pretzels
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    Filling:
    3 pints vanilla ice cream
    6 Tbsp. frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
    3 Tbsp. tequila
    1 Tbsp. Triple Sec or orange flavored liqueur
    1 1/2 tsp. grated lime peel
    Thinly sliced lime

    Directions

    For crust; melt butter, pour into small mixing bowl.  
    Stir in pretzels and sugar until well blended.  Press
    onto bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate.  Freeze
    1 hour.
    For filling, place ice cream in large mixing bowl
    and allow to soften at room temperature for about
    10 minutes.  Stir in limeade, tequila, Triple Sec,
    and grated peel.  Spoon into frozen crust.  Return
    to freezer for several hours or overnight.
    To serve, remove from freezer and let stand a few
    minutes for ease in cutting.  Garnish each piece
    with a twisted slice of lime.
