Shoo Fly Pie
(Old Pennsylvania Dutch molasses pie)
2 - 9 inch pie shells
1 cup molassess
1 tsp. soda
1 cup boiling water
4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
Mix filling ingredients together.
Mix crumb ingredients togehter.
Set aside 1 1/2 cups of the crumb mixture.
Combine the rest of the crumb mixture with the
filling. Pour into pie shells. Top with the rest of the
crumb mixture that was set aside.
Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes.
