    Southern Pecan Pie

    Ingredients

    3 eggs
    2/3 cups sugar
    1 cup dark corn syrup
    1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
    1 cup pecan halves
    9-inch pie shell

    Directions

    Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt, corn
    syrup and melted butter.  Add pecans. Pour into
    unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 350 for 50 minutes and knife comes out
    clean.
    Cool.
